exhibit design

Interactive exhibit design through TouchDesigner.

Projection-based exhibits programmed and designed for Otherworld Ohio and Otherworld Philadelphia, both immersive art exhibits.

Melty Room

The Melty Room is an interactive exhibit in Columbus, Ohio that I designed, programmed, and mapped. Touching any of the four walls creates a virtual paint effect that drips and oozes.

I used lidar mapping and projection mapping to create this room, and created the interaction and graphics using TouchDesigner.

OTHERWORLD PHILADELPHIA ◆

OTHERWORLD PHILADELPHIA ◆

Otherworld Philadelphia, recently opened, is home to three projects I helped design: the exhibit entry lobby (an otherworldly projection design), the Apartments exhibit (a geometric room that ‘breaks apart’ as you interact with the walls), and the Founder’s Office (a lidar-based interactive room with ‘paintings’ that can be colored in).

Void Hall

The void hall combines LED-lit hallways with projections to create an enticing and futuristic liminal space.

Platonic Domes

This geodome exhibit creates an ambient seating area with galaxy-like projections.
